5. Behind it All
This artist, Martin Whatson, made painstaking efforts to layer this detailed Banksy-like piece onto a wall in Miami. The obvious story is clever, that there is something behind the bleak wall which is more interesting than the gray. The more interesting part reflects what most consider the graffiti end of street art, begging one to ask if it’s not actually better than gray walls?
