The MJP remains committed to achieving environmental security and creating peace and stability in all communities by planning and implementing interventions that prevent negative environmental changes. To start the MJP, the stars donated $1-million to Doctors Without Borders and Global Action for Children.
19. Leonardo Dicaprio
Say what you will about Leo spouting off at the Oscars. The man has convened with some of the most knowledgeable people on the planet about our natural world. In 1998, DiCaprio started the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, an organization dedicated to the preservation of the planet’s fern and fauna. DiCaprio sits on the National Resources Defense Council’s board and regularly speaks out when governments fail to react as humans harm the planet.
