The Famous Bench
Throughout the film, we see Gump seated on a bench. He’s waiting for someone, sharing his time with others who join him on the bench. That bench was in Georgia at the time, but preservationists have since moved it to the Savannah Museum, ensuring that it will live on as a tribute to the film.
