Add Every One of These Panoramic Hot Springs of the World to Your Bucket List

2. Esalen Hot Springs—Big Sur, California

For more than 6,000 years, the Esselen Indians have used the springs in Esalen for their healing powers. The development of Big Sur turned it more into a tourist destination, but you won’t know it sitting in the springs. On one side you have cascading hills. On the other, you have endless Pacific. Clothing is optional at these springs, but you can wear whatever you prefer.
