Norwegian Guy Who Saves a Drowning Duck
If you thought the story about the two guys saving the baby lamb was amazing, you won’t believe this other Norwegian. Apparently, the Norwegians don’t tolerate drowning. Walking near the Norwegian capital Oslo, Lars Jorun Langoien spotted a bird stuck bottom-up in Lake Sognsvann. Fortunately for the duck, Langoien was a swimmer and was already in his swimming trunks. He stripped down to his trunks and jumped in the frozen lake to rescue the duck. “I assumed it was looking for food and knew the way out, and my pal grabbed a photo of it,” he told the Daily Mail. “But then we realized that it was trapped and had forgotten where the hole was that it had come through, and was drowning.” Both the man and duck made it out alive.
