The Memphis Superhero Window Washers
Started by a cleaning company in Clearwater, Florida, a trend of workers donning costumes while working at Children’s hospitals spread across the country in 2013. This image is from outside the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennesee. Window washers dressed up as super heroes when cleaning the windows. They’d tap on the glass and wave at the kids. For the kids, it was a moment of respite from the troubles in their lives. For the window washers, it added a level of value to their otherwise mundane jobs. That’s what we call a win-win.
