25. Get Outside

Nature makes us happy. Science shows us that the frontal lobe of our brain – the “noisy” bit – deactivates a little when we’re outside. Alpha waves – which are responsible for calm alertness, or “flow” – increase. Getting outside also releases happy endorphins, increases confidence, and as a by-product, lowers stress. Time to go for a hike!
