Mindfulness is a state of mind in which you are aware and attentive to the present moment. While mindfulness in of itself isn’t exactly proven to be linked to happiness, its side-effects are. The more attentive you are to the present moment, the more you tend to be grateful, and the less you tend to worry about the past or future.
