In order to be happy, we all need a sense of purpose. When we set realistic goals and crush them, we contribute to our own sense of self-efficacy and self-esteem. Self-efficacy is essentially the belief that we can get stuff done, which is pretty important to our happiness, and essential to success. The more you’re able to accomplish, and the more you’re able to see yourself progress, the more your self-efficacy grows.
