12. Cougar Hot Springs—Willamette National Forest Oregon
At the edge of the Cougar Reservoir, the Cougar Hot Springs, or Terwilliger Hot Springs, is a quarter mile hike in. The view is dense Oregon forest. Once you get there, expect to find naked people and several muddy baths of hot springy water. The higher up you soak, the hotter the pool. It’s 112 at the top, 85 at the bottom. You’ll need to pay a few bucks for entry, and don’t bring booze to this national park. It’s not allowed, man.
