8. The Springs Resort and Spa—La Fortuna, Costa Rica
Getting to La Fortuna is easy. It’s about the same distance from the two main international airports. There, views include a volcano, rainforest, and the chance to see about five percent of the world’s biological fern and fauna. The Spa is slightly off the beaten path, but so is everything in Costa Rica. Once you’re on the grounds, you’ll forget you’re in a developing country, per the five-star accommodations.
