7. Dad vs. Alligator

We hear a lot about the infamous “Florida man” in the news, but there’s one “Florida man” who’s a total boss. His name is Joseph Welsch. He and his 6-year-old son, Joey, were preparing for a canoe trip when Joey fell in the water. A large alligator grabbed Joey and began to swim off. Welsch jumped in the water and punched the animal over and over until someone else came to help. After a couple seconds, the alligator let go of Joey, and Welsch was able to carry him to the shore and get him to the hospital. He suffered no serious injuries. The doctors said it was a miracle that his arm was still intact!
