The Dude Who Saved a Drowning Kitten
When a man named Yusuke Mieno watched a kitten dodge a car in traffic, he kept an eye on the little creature until it disappeared into a roadside canal. Thinking fast, Mieno took his umbrella and followed the kitten, which was down a short flight of stairs, stuck in an impossible situation. There was no way it could climb out of that hole. He flipped around the umbrella, turning it into a scooper, which he then used to pull the little one from the water. The images shared on Mieno’s Twitter account went viral, branding him a kitten hero for life.
